Grain Market Recap and Summary

Corn export sales are down 41% from the previous week. Oliver Sloup discusses the decline in corn futures, which close at their lowest level since March 24.

May options are officialy off the baord, which means next week is first notice day for May grain futures.  July futures have taken over as the most actively traded contracts.

July corn futures finished the day 10 3/4 cents lower, settling at 615 1/4.  The new crop December contract settled 9 1/2 cents lower, settling at 548, the lowest close since July 22nd.

July soybeans finished the day 19 1/2 cents lower, settling at 1449.  The new crop November contract settled at 1285 1/4, that was 15 1/4 cents lower for the day.

July Chicago wheat was 7 cents lower to 673.  July KC wheat finished 1 1/4 cents lower to 825 1/2.  July spring wheat was 8 3/4 cents lower, settling at 847.
